I remember the time Annie and I, Jakky, talked about what we wanted to do when high school was over. There were so many things to choose from as graduation grew nearer and the things we talked about were all about how to find ourselves a man, get married and have children...you name it. I mean, looking back, for a fourteen year old kid like me wasn't very fussed on anything like that -- although, having a boyfriend in high school was all I wanted, but both of my parents were pretty strict about it! Annie was more than happy to show me more other things that we could do when high school was over and to be honest with you, all the things she had shown me were all about living a rich life by becoming famous actors and such, although acting wasn't really for me. To just watch other people play in big movies was fine, but to become a famous actor like Johnny Depp would have taken at least forever to get where he's at today. Acting in movies just to become famous and rich was never my true goal because I wanted to do something better than just being noticed for acting in big movies like all those other people out there. Lots of kids who have just started out in high school explore these kinds of feelings and some of them realize that acting isn't their thing either. Annie had pushed me into thinking that acting is the way to go to becoming rich, but why that road when there are other options to fulfill while still young? We young ones today have the power to choose whatever we want but when Annie had opened me up to acting, it was a good start to realize that we can become rich and successful in our own ways without doing something we hate. When I had gotten over of becoming a famous actor, Annie wasn't very pleased about it but had managed to explain it to her calmly and we still remained as friends today. Becoming a famous actor is hard work, but so are other goals that you want to achieve in your life and sticking to what you love is what matters the most. Now we are no longer in high school, Annie still dreams of becoming a famous actor and I wonder why she bothers wasting her time away like that when she has a job of being a motel cleaner! The road I take to becoming rich is something my heart follows in this case and know for sure that in changing world, there are more than one thing to achieve in getting rich.
